Worldwide Capabilities

We pioneered the use of the CessnaCam aerial camera pod for use on locally available aircraft worldwide. The CessnaCam pod is FAA approved via a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Cessna 172, Cessna 182, Cessna 180, and Cessna 170 model airplanes, giving us access to over 75,000 aircraft worldwide, several of the most popular models of aircraft in the world. Unlike several other "pods" or external camera mounts, the CessnaCam is STC approved, safe, and legal.

Midwest Office

Airborne Scientific bases two aircraft out of the Kansas City area. We can respond very quickly to projects in the central Midwest.

We have been flying photography in Alaska since 1997 and have two aircraft based out of Homer in Southcentral Alaska. We have extensive experience with the unique challenges of flying in Alaska.
